Not as a standalone development goal — as a subscription, yes. LLM subscriptions are eligible under the paid cloud services development goal, at a net unit cost of HUF 14,400 per user per month. The DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/C-26 call is open to for-profit micro and small businesses with a Budapest site and at most 49 employees; submissions open on 1 September 2026.
What is the DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/C-26 call?
The call funds digitalization developments with HUF 3-12 million in de minimis support, at up to 90% intensity. The total budget is HUF 2 billion. The end of the submission window will be known from the official call.
Entry requires a digital intensity score measured at kkvdigital.dkf.hu; it is worth completing before the opening. The official call: DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/C-26 (source: palyazat.gov.hu).
The previous B-26 call, which covered areas outside Budapest, exhausted its budget quickly. For C-26 too, it pays to arrive with a submission-ready application on opening day.
Which AI costs are eligible, and which are not?
AI on its own is not a supported development goal in C-26.
LLM subscriptions are eligible, however: under the paid cloud services development goal, at a net unit cost of HUF 14,400 per user per month. This is how AI enters a C-26 application: paid cloud services is one of the selectable development goals, and the LLM subscription is an eligible line item within it.
Ads promising "90% AI grants" typically leave this restriction out. Anyone advertising that is promising more than the call contains.
How to structure your application if you want AI
Start with the assessment, then draw up the development goals.
The AI opportunity assessment (from HUF 500,000 + VAT) delivers a prioritized list of automatable processes, with cost and payback estimates. The output is a written plan you can also use to draw up the development goals of your application.
We match the development goals to the call's eligible costs: what fits as a subscription service, and what falls outside the call. The submitted development plan is built on the text of the call.
For AI project pricing in general — assistants, integrations, payback — see How much does AI adoption cost in 2026?. A small proof of concept is ready in 2-3 weeks; most projects go from kickoff to production in 6-12 weeks.
What if C-26 is not an option?
If you don't meet the conditions, or the budget runs out, two open options remain.
- AI EDIH Hungary. Free AI assessment and training for SMEs, provided as de minimis aid. Available on a rolling basis, with no submission deadline.
- MFB technology loan (GINOP Plusz-1.4.4-24). Currently open, available to Budapest-based businesses as well, for financing digitalization and technology developments.
DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/B-26, GINOP Plusz-1.2.4-24 and -25, and the website development call of the Demján Sándor Program have closed; no new applications can be submitted to them. Current status can be checked at palyazat.gov.hu.
We check whether you are eligible for C-26 and which development fits the call. The open calls and the eligible AI costs are collected on our AI and digitalization grants for SMEs page.
