Updated:
Three options are open for Budapest SMEs right now. DIMOP Plusz-1.2.6/C-26: submissions from 1 September 2026, HUF 3-12 million, up to 90% support for micro and small businesses. AI EDIH Hungary: free AI assessment and training, rolling, no submission deadline. The MFB GINOP Plusz-1.4.4-24: technology loan, currently open. The official calls are published at palyazat.gov.hu.
AI is not a supported development goal on its own in the C-26 call. LLM subscriptions are eligible, however, under the paid cloud services development goal, at a net unit cost of HUF 14,400 per user per month. Ads promising "90% AI grants" typically leave this restriction out.
The C-26 budget is HUF 2 billion. The budget of the previous B-26 call (for areas outside Budapest) was exhausted quickly. The end of the submission window will be known from the official call; preparation — eligibility check, digital intensity score at kkvdigital.dkf.hu, development goals drawn up — is worth starting before the opening.

How we help you prepare
- 1
AI opportunity assessment — from HUF 500,000 + VAT
We review your processes and deliver a prioritized list: what each automation brings, what it costs, and how fast it pays back. The written plan also serves as input for the grant's development goals.
- 2
Grant use-case planning
We match the assessment output to the call's eligible costs: which development goals can be selected, what fits as a subscription service, and what falls outside the call. The submitted development plan is built on the text of the call.
- 3
Implementation and operations
A small proof of concept is ready in 2-3 weeks; most projects go from kickoff to production in 6-12 weeks. Source code, models, and data remain yours.
